Flightseeing
Yes, I know. Enough videos of Alaska! I think I'm getting to the end of my favorites. This was a flight we took from Talkeetna to Mt. McKinley. We flew over Ruth Glacier, a climbing base camp, etc.

Kenai Fjords National Park
A mountain goat in Northwestern Fjord
In the Northwestern Fjord, we stopped to watch a glacier calving.
In the Northwestern Fjord, we stopped to watch a glacier calving.
We saw tons of orcas on our day in the fjords. This clip includes their 'talking' - the boat we were on dropped a mic into the ocean so we could hear them.
This is a humpback whale...watch all the way to the end for the fluke!

Hiking Polychrome, Denali National Park
Denali has basically no maintained trails. To hike, you simply set off from the one road that runs through the middle of the park. We got off at Polychrome and headed uphill. After whacking our way through bushes and mud, we came across a big pile of white fur near a stream. Around the next corner, we found the skull of the sheep that had been killed - likely by a pack of wolves that were denning nearby.
Alaska's Wildlife
Moose at Wonder Lake. We spent the morning picking blueberries along the lake and watching this giant moose do the same.
Spawning salmon (mostly sockeye while we were there) fill many of the creeks and rivers in the Kenai Peninsula. This clip is from Ptarmagain Creek.
This bear was in the river with it's cub near Seward, AK
Bears!!!
These three videos show a mom and her cub, just outside our bus in Denali. The mom goes first, then calls to the cub. Finally, you can see the cub running to catch up. Sorry it's in 3 videos, I don't know how to edit yet.
Halibut fishing, Homer, Alaska
Ashley catches one!
Scott catches one (but he's not as excited as Ashley was because his is smaller)
